Hvidovre Cup 8-10 januari

On Thursday, 7 January 2021, Hvidovre Curling Club can celebrate its 50-years anniversary.

We will mark the day with a reception on the day, and naturally also mark the event in our annual tournament, Hvidovre Cup, which will take place in Hvidovre, Denmark, 8-10 January 2021

Party:

Hvidovre Cup will include a Curlers’ Party which will be arranged the Theater Hall with entertainment, dance and live music. We naturally hope to see all friends of Hvidovre Curling Club to celebrate the anniversary (price DKK 50 per person if not participating in the tournament, where the curlers’ party is included in the entry fee).

Number of teams:

Up to 24 teams – any constellation is possible!

Deadline: Send your entry to: latest by 15 December 2020

Entry fee:

DKK 1,600 – to be paid before your first game. You can pay in cash or by Visa or MasterCard.

The entry fee includes open sandwiches on Friday night, breakfast buffet Saturday and Sunday morning and a Curler Party Saturday night (for 4 persons, or DKK 50 per person in excess of 4 persons)

System of play:

3 preliminary games with final system of play to be decided depending on the final number of teams (likely to be split into 2-3 tournaments)

All preliminary games will be played on time – 90 minutes + 1 end.

Your first game will be Friday noon/afternoon (depending on the number of teams) and will be advised by an e-mail confirming your entry in the tournament. The final program will be available at the beginning of the tournament.

Prizes:

Prizes for the best 4 teams in each of the tournaments. With minimum 16 teams the prizes will amount to DKK 20,000.
